Dear Friends,

I’m taking on a tremendous challenge to help in the fight against AIDS, and I hope you will support me.  Starting in July, I’ll be training for the XTERRA Trail Running World Championship, and I’ve made it a personal mission to raise funds for AIDS Project Los Angeles (APLA).

The XTERRA Trail Running World Championship is an off-road half-marathon being held on December 7, 2014 on the North Shore of Oahu in HawaiiAlong with a fantastic group of Team To End AIDS (T2) participants, I'll be running 13.1 miles along trails, up hills, through mud, amid spectacular scenery in the area where "Jurassic Park" was filmed. I’ll be training at least three days per week, because I want to do something that’s not only physically challenging for me, but also beneficial to APLA's clients.

Nearly 1.2 million Americans are now living with HIV, and 56,000 more will be infected this year!  For over 25 years, APLA has provided food, home health care, and other services to thousands of people whose lives are affected by HIV/AIDS.  Many of them are living in poverty and have nowhere to turn.

That’s why I’m asking you to help. Please join me in doing what we can to bring an end to HIV/AIDS. You can donate as little as $5 and or much as you like.

Please donate today by clicking on the button that says, "Donate Now". It's easy!  Help me exceed my goal of raising at least $3,200 and make a difference in the life of an APLA client today.  Donations are put to use immediately — so please, donate today!

Thank you so much for caring, and thank you for your support.
