Mr. Kevin J Robinson
I am once again taking on a tremendous challenge to help in the fight against AIDS, and I hope you will support me. I’ll be training in T2's Triathlon Training Program, and I’ve made it a personal mission to raise money for AIDS Project Los Angeles (APLA).
Along with a fantastic group of Team To End AIDS (T2) participants, I'll be working to become a better swimmer, cyclist and runner. I want to do something that’s not only physically challenging for me, but also beneficial to APLA's clients.
The rate of infections in the United States has actually remained steady over the last few years but the downturn in the economy has left many of our friends and neighbors without jobs, healthcare, or stable housing.
Nearly 1.2 million Americans are now living with HIV, and 56,000 more will be infected this year! For over 30 years, APLA has provided food, home health care, and other services to thousands of people whose lives are affected by HIV/AIDS. While HIV/AIDS may no longer be the death sentence it once was, it can still have a devastating impact. Many of them are living in poverty and have nowhere else to turn.
That’s why I’m asking you to help. Please join me in doing what we can to bring an end to HIV/AIDS. You can donate as little as $5 or as much as you like. If your company has a matching gift program, you can multiply your gift by taking an extra moment to provide the information needed. You can also break down your donation into smaller monthly payments.
Please donate today by clicking on the button that says, "Donate". It's easy! Help me exceed my goal and make a difference in the life of an APLA client today. Donations are put to use immediately providing housing, medical and mental health services, and advocacy on behalf of people living with HIV/AIDS — so please, donate today! Your generous donation is also fully tax-deductible.
Thank you so much for caring, and thank you for your support. Please share this link with all your friends and social media networks and help me reach my fundraising goal.
