Dear Friends,
I’m taking on a tremendous challenge to help in the fight against AIDS and I hope you will support me. As some of you know I had to drop out of training for the Malibut triathlon this year when two disks in my back burst and left me paralyzed in pain. Severl months, more days in the hospital than I care to think about and one kick ass surgery later I'm ready to start thinking about getting back on my feet. I will have to start slow but I'm determined to be ready to run a race in late January. But I will need your help.
Starting October 20, I’ll be training for the Tinker Bell Half Marathon and I’ve made it a personal mission to raise at least $2,150 for AIDS Project Los Angeles (APLA).
Nearly 1.2 million Americans are now living with HIV and 56,000 more will be infected this year. For almost 30 years, APLA has provided food, home health care, and other services to thousands of people whose lives are affected by HIV/AIDS. Many of them are living in poverty and have nowhere to turn.
That’s why I’m asking you to help. Please join me in doing what we can to bring an end to HIV/AIDS. You can donate as little as $5 and or much as you like.
Please donate today by clicking on the button that says, "Donate To Support..." It's easy! Help me exceed my goal of raising at least $2,150 and make a difference in the life of an APLA client today. Donations are put to use immediately — so please, donate today!
Thank you so much for caring, and thank you for your support.
